What we build
We are a small crew by choice — the people who quote your job are the people who build it. Nothing gets subcontracted out, and nothing gets hidden under a finish coat.
Driveways that take a truck every day. Patios that hold up to Texas summers. We prepare the base properly, set the forms true and finish the surface by hand — because the part you cannot see is what decides how long the part you can see lasts.
A fence is the first thing people see and the last thing you want to think about. We build cedar and metal fences on posts set to hold, with straight lines, clean gates and hardware that still works years from now.

Resurface tired concrete instead of tearing it out — hand-cut stone patterns and stains laid over your existing slab.
Slate, ashlar and flagstone patterns stamped and coloured to suit the house they belong to.

Family owned
AV Fence & Concrete started the way a lot of good Texas businesses do. A husband and wife — Vanessa and her husband — took the construction experience they already had and built something of their own.
No investor, no marketing budget. The company grew the way it still grows: one job at a time, on work people could point at.
When the name on the truck is your own family’s, a finished driveway is not a line item. It is your reputation, sitting in somebody’s front yard.
The base, the forms, the steel, the finish. We do the unglamorous parts properly, because that is what decides whether concrete cracks or a fence leans.
You talk to the people doing the work. Questions get answered, changes get discussed, and nobody hands you off to a call centre.

How it works
No pressure and no obligation at any point. Most estimates start with a two-minute phone call.
Call, text or send the form. A few details and a photo or two are usually enough for us to understand what you are after.
We walk the site, measure, talk through the options, then put a written estimate in front of you with the scope spelled out.
We agree on materials, finish and colour, set a start date, and tell you what to expect while we are on site.
Our own crew does the work, cleans up behind itself, and walks the finished job with you before we call it done.
